I like that the sweet and spicy part seems to be tempered with some fruity juiciness (although that is not mentioned in the description) and that it shape-shifts into a woody-floral, then musky-mossy floral to end with sweet spiciness again.

1001 Nights (Alf Laila O Laila) perfume oil . I purchased this in a store i go to on a regular basis. They sell many arabic oils. I must say i am still undecided on this one, as it is very floral on the opening and quite powdery after about 2-3 hours. I think it also has quite a spicy undertone to it, which i don't like. Over all a very overly floral scent with a spicy under tone. The smell lingers for hours and hours so beware! Not one i would choose to purchase again.And maybe better suited to a more mature person.

The scent description on the site is exactly as the perfume smell. It's woody, but floral, it's mossy but fresh. The very first time i received this and smelt it, i didn't like it. I felt it's too bitter. But pretty soon, addicted to the grounding scent easily, and this is one of my favourite out of 50 perfumes. If you are looking for something calm and grounding. also for those who in dry air or cold season, here in japan, it's autumn and winter. * posted in Nov, 2006
